Transition Day is one of the most important moments in the school year. In the midst of the busy end of the Summer Term, the time comes when you meet your new class. It’s time to start to build relationships that will be vital for the next academic year and beyond. How do you achieve this?
Some of you will have tried and tested ideas and activities; some schools SLT determine what will happen and some of you will be looking for fresh ideas. The duration of Transition Day can be anything from a whole day to the odd half hour – whatever time you have you will want to make the most of it.
