A hilarious book which is great to read aloud about Harvey a small boy in a giant world. On stilts! When Harvey accidentally sets fire to his headteacher’s trousers, Mum decides it’s time for a BIG change and packs him off to Madame Bogbrush’s School for Gifted Giants. But Harvey’s not a giant. He’s a boy on stilts. And if his classmates find out, they’ll stomp him into a sandwich! This book is a great way to discuss sensitive topics such as difference; tolerance and acceptance.

Let’s talk is a series of discussion prompts designed to address common misconceptions that children have about key ideas in Maths. This series was launched in September 2023 and has proven to be extremely successful.
All of this term’s Morning Work is available to download too! Our Morning work covers Maths and English providing opportunities to practice discrete skills and recall key knowledge. Friday is Flashback day – when the activities relate to teaching from earlier in the year. Every slide is predated – all that needs to be done is to display the day’s slide. A great way to activate thinking first thing in the morning!
