We are very excited about February’s new resources which have been uploaded to the site today.
By popular demand, we have expanded our Writer’s Workshops. This month we have added 2 more setting descriptions for you to enjoy – The Island and The Meadow. Beautiful images prompt discussion and stimulate exciting vocabulary; brilliant for those short writing opportunities! Great to build writing stamina or to use for a draft to include in a longer piece of writing. Look out for more additions to Writing Workshops next month.
This month’s Maths Activity Packs include: Y3 Statistics; Y3 Measures; Y4 Fractions and Y6 Measures. These packs contain gems of practical activities to enhance your current provision. Our subscribers are finding the activities particularly useful for small intervention groups. Resources used are easily found in most classrooms, those that are not are provided. Also included are a list of other resources on the site that will work well with the Activity Pack. All the Maths Vocabulary you could want is also available in handy year group packs which include vocabulary from preceding year groups.
As usual, there is morning work for every week of the month to accommodate half term falling in different weeks across the UK. Flashback Friday is proving to be a winner – a great way to tap back into prior learning.
There’s lots to look forward to in March so keep your eyes peeled!
