We are excited to tell you all about our latest uploads – this month we have a Writing unit for Reports; Arithmetic Assessments and an Activity pack and resources for Cool by Michael Morpurgo.
WRITING: A unit for Reports. This concludes our series of non-fiction writing units. As with the earlier units published there are Editable PowerPoints [13]; activities and resources [17]and a Teacher Guide to help you to plan the perfect unit of writing for your class. The beauty of our writing units is taht they are flexible and you pick and choose the elements that meet the needs of your class. No one knows their class better than you!
READING: A Book Activity Pack and resources for Cool by Michael Morpurgo. Robbie is a football fan and animal lover who is in a coma after being hit by a car. He is able to hear, but he can’t move or speak. Robbie’s family and friends try to reach him, including his favourite Chelsea footballer, Zola. Against hospital rules, Robbie’s dad brings his dog Lucky into the hospital, and Lucky may be able to bring Robbie back to life
This pack of 42 files includes:
An Activity pack with chapter by chapter discussion questions, reading activities, GPS, Writing opportunities and vocabulary.
Reading comprehensions and Word Workshops for every chapter.
A selection of the following: Character analysis; Thoughts; Hopes and Fears; Predictions; First Impressions.
ARITHMETIC: Assessment packs for the end of the Autumn Term for each year group. Each pack contains a Teacher guide which includes a list of domains tested and the mark scheme; 2 editable spreadsheets – use the one that is compatible with your school’s version of Excel and the Pupil Test.
MORNING WORK: November and December is now available. Every day there are different Maths and English activities matched to each year groups’ National Curriculum objectives.
