New in September
We are very excited about the new resources that have been uploaded to the site this month.
Holes by Louis Sachar Activity Pack and resources. Totalling 90 files for this fantastic book which is widely used for Crime and Punishment topics For convenience the 50 chapters have been put into groups to create 14 sessions. Those of you familiar with the book will know that the chapters are very short!
Writing Unit – Persuasion. 40 files comprising 18 editable PowerPoints and 22 resources to support the teaching of persuasive writing. To get the best of out if this unit we suggest that you read the Teacher Guidance first as this gives a comprehensive guide to planning a unit of work; lists of resources; book suggestions and ideas for writing.
Mental Maths Weekly Tests – The pack for the second half of the Autumn Term has been uploaded. As with the previous packs they for with the Mental Maths Programme; a summary of the objectives tested is also included.
Morning Work for September and October was uploaded last month. November and December will be available in October. Perfect for morning registration and a brilliant way to kick start your class. Activities are open-ended and cover Maths and English with different skills each day. All the slides are predated – all you have to do is display them and off you go! It couldn’t be simpler.
