What does the Summer Term bring? Sunny weather; outdoor lessons; Sports Day; end of year productions; Y6 SATs; Y6 residentials; Y6 Leavers festivities and that’s before you mention the ‘C’ word. Yes, CHANGE! New school; new year group; new Head; new curriculum; new schemes of work; new policies – the list is endless!
All this and the usual planning, marking and assessment – Summer Term is often thought of as the winding down term by outsiders but those of us that know – know winding up is a more apt description.
