We are very excited about our bumper crop of resources released this month.
The majority of our updates are for Maths; these resources are being released to match the White Rose SOW. Our Maths resources are designed to complement your existing provision and provide a bank of practical activities to be used to meet the needs of your class. Each NC objective is covered for each year group and we are certain that your class will embrace the chance to try something new.
To support our Spelling Programme we have developed a Spelling Activity Bank which is jam-packed with multi-sensory activities. The activities are suitable for all year groups and abilities to consolidate the learning of spelling patterns and spelling rules. All the activities have been used in classrooms across KS2 with children enjoying them as well as improving their spelling skills and knowledge. It has been found that using a selection of activities several times a week in short bursts is particularly effective. Once children have learnt the activities, many of them can be completed at home.
To support writing in Science we have developed a bank of working scientifically sentence stems. Children often find investigation work very exciting but lose enthusiasm when it comes to writing about their work. Our sentence stems provide great prompts to help children use the correct scientific language and write with an appropriate degree of formality.
